Beams of Light is an Ofsted-registered Holiday Playcentre offering a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for children aged 3–11. Our programme is designed to support children’s wellbeing, creativity, and social development during school holidays.

We welcome children aged 3 to 11 from all schools and backgrounds. We are committed to inclusion and support children with a wide range of abilities, including those with additional needs, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and engaged.

Children enjoy a varied and engaging programme of activities, including:  Indoor and outdoor games  Arts and crafts  Music and dance  Drama and role play  Baking and creative workshops  Each holiday features a themed programme, which can be viewed on our Booking Portal.

Yes. Bookings can be moved within the same holiday period (e.g. Easter holidays) with at least 3 days’ notice, subject to availability.

You may cancel at any time. However, please note that we are unable to offer refunds or credits for any booked sessions.

We do not offer refunds or credits for cancellations or non-attendance, including absences due to illness. Where possible, sessions may be swapped within the same week with at least 3 days’ notice, subject to availability.

Yes, we offer a 10% sibling discount when booking more than one child.

Yes, we accept both childcare vouchers and the UK Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme. If your provider is not listed, please contact us and we will aim to register with them.

Early drop-off or late collection may be available (subject to availability and additional fees). For half-day sessions, drop-off and collection times can be adjusted within the booked session if arranged in advance.

Please ensure your child brings:  A nut-free packed lunch and snacks  A refillable water bottle  Spare clothes  Fresh fruit is provided throughout the day.

Please inform us as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for missed sessions due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

Yes. All staff are fully trained, experienced, and DBS-checked, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all children.

Yes, we can administer prescribed medication provided that:  It has been prescribed by a doctor and includes a pharmacy label  A medication administration form has been completed  Clear instructions are provided on the medication  Please note we are unable to administer over-the-counter medication.
